National PBS exists to inspire purpose and empowerment for individuals to reach their full potential and manage their risk of harm behaviours.
What is the NPBS story?
National PBS was founded in 2019. We have been providing PBS for 6 years. Since inception National PBS has grown and is a proud employer of more than 45 staff with 3 office locations in Victoria.
National PBS is the brainchild of Anthony DeFazio, who saw a significant gap in the levels of behaviour support and psychology being given in Australia. Over the past five years, he and his team have been able to deliver life-changing behaviour support and psychology services to over 1000 NDIS and Medicare participants across Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
Our current Team comprises of Five departments: Directors, Management, Senior Practitioners, Practitioners and Operations.
Our practitioners are highly valued and are given the opportunity to discuss the challenging situations they can face when supporting participants. They are supported on a regular basis through senior practitioners attending QA supervision and internal supervision programs. This is where practitioners get to discuss and collaborate as a team on the participants they are supporting. It means that the participants that we support benefit from the collective experience and knowledge of all the practitioners in the team.
For persons of all ages, our psychologists/therapists provide specialised examination, psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health, behavioural, and emotional issues.
We are currently providing our services in Victoria and throughout Australia via telehealth.
